Kristi Kendrick provides estate planning and probate administration services tailored to each client, ranging from simple wills involving small estates to preparation of inter vivos (living) revocable trusts to testamentary trusts to minimize federal and estate taxes in large estates by taking advantage of the marital deduction and unified credit. She also prepares “living wills” to express your wishes concerning life-prolonging procedures and “durable” asset and medical powers of attorney so that in the event that you are incapacitated, your business and personal affairs and health-related decisions can be handled by persons that you have personally chosen.
Kristi provides legal advice concerning the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, agricultural
land, and homes. She has a great deal of experience in the examination of real estate titles, title insurance requirements and title curative documents. She has represented companies and individuals who lease commercial property, agricultural land, and residential property. She has been involved in all aspects of real estate, construction, mechanics’ and materialmen’s liens, and breach of contract claims.
Kristi handles general transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, choice of business entity, and formation of corporations, partnerships, and limited liability entities. She has considerable experience and expertise in both state and federal courts to handle a wide variety of commercial litigation ranging from the simple contract dispute for small business owners to complex litigation for large corporate clients.
Kristi handles general civil litigation, including contract disputes, debt collections, foreclosures and evictions, real estate title and survey disputes, adverse possession claims, insurance claims, civil rights violations, and more.
Kristi handles personal and business bankruptcies and reorganizations and represents creditors involved in such actions.
Kristi has had extensive experience lobbying, having conceived, written, lobbied for and obtained passage of 15 statutes and numerous ordinances. She is prepared to protect businesses and individuals by shaping state and local governmental decisions.
